Dr. Clifford Melnick

Dr. Clifford Melnick has been practicing Periodontics and Implant Dentistry for over 35 years. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1982, he completed his Residency training at The Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC. He then received his post graduate training in Periodontology at Columbia University in 1985. Dr. Melnick opened his practice Limited to Periodontics in 1986, at which point he also began teaching the residents at Mount Sinai Hospital and was ultimately appointed Assistant Clinical Professor at the hospital. He supervised the residents in clinical procedures and lectured at the hospital.

Dr. Melnick is a very concerned clinician with high ethical standards and skill. He is constantly taking continuing education courses to hone in on his craft and stay on the leading edge in the field of Periodontics and Implant surgery. He is a LANAP trained clinician; this is an FDA cleared non-surgical laser treatment for moderate to advanced periodontal disease. The outcomes of this advanced treatment modality have been extremely positive and the patients are very pleased with the minimal discomfort during and/or after this treatment. He also uses the latest techniques in implant treatment planning and surgery as well as soft tissue grafting. When Dr. Melnick is not working, his hobbies include golf, reading, working out and traveling.

Dr. Melnick and his staff pride themselves in the extra attention they give their patients. They really enjoy what they do and feel it shows in the quality of service and friendly atmosphere that patients receive as soon as they walk through the door.
